Hammerdown 2020 Postponed

Chris McGreevy Competition, Events Leave a Comment

Homebrewers and Hammerdown Supporters:

As you know, it takes a great number of people to put on a successful homebrew competition.  On the day of the event, dozens of staff, judges, stewards and supporters come together in close proximity, to judge and celebrate.  Due to the current situation surrounding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and considering the advice of public officials to avoid large gatherings, the Northern Kentucky Homebrewers Guild has decided to indefinitely postpone the Hammerdown 2020 Homebrew Competition.  We take this event very seriously and strive to host a competition that is enjoyed by all each year.  In the interest of safety, and the concern that volunteer participation will be greatly impacted, we regret that we will not be holding the event as scheduled in April.  We will be processing refunds for any paid entries and have closed our website to registrants at this time.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and as it improves, hopefully quickly, we will be working to reschedule Hammerdown for a later date.

Thank you for your support and understanding.  Please be sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date on updates as they become available.
