Dave Dixon and Josanna Pociask Dixon have graciously offered to open their home in Burlington to the club and host the Holiday party. They will be smoking some meat for the main course. Please bring a covered dish, snacks and beer to round out the meal. They have a great space to accomodate us and it should be a great time. The party is open to members and spouses or significant/unsignificant others. Due to the nature of the event we politely ask that the little ones be left with a sitter.

We will have an ugly sweater contest with the ugliest sweater receiving a gift card to Tri-State. Make sure to dig out your best sweaters or get to a thrift store to find a gem.

We will also be having a White Rhino gift exchange. If you would like to participate bring a bomber or 6 pack of craft beer.

We will be offering a raffle to raise money for banners and other club items. Tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5. This gives you a chance to donate toward the club and some upcoming expenses while having to opportunity to win something in return.

Drawing for the first annual guild “crazy ingredient” brew competition. For those who wish to participate we will be compiling a list of “interesting” ingredients that you may not typically associate with brewing beer. We will “draw” the night of the party. We will set a date to have the finished beers ready and will get together to select the beer which best made use of the crazy ingredient assigned. This will be fun and friendly and will hopefully force you to think outside the box for at least one brew. There will be an award to the best beer.

This is going to be a casual and fun event to socialize together. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
